Adult Student Advocate The purpose of this position is to provide supportive services to MCC adult students with a focus on enrollment, persistence, retention, and degree/certificate completion. This position is responsible for providing proactive support, guidance, and tracking academic and completion progress.   The adult student advocate's primary duties is serving the unique needs of adult students in terms of providing the following: 1) intrusive support and advocacy; 2) navigate successful transition into and through the college experience; 3) establish relationship and community building; and 4) developing strategies and interventions for managing school, family, work, and life responsibilities.
