The University of Washington School of Law seeks applications for a Visiting Lecturer during the 2021-22 academic year. The Immigration Clinic provides legal representation to indigent immigrants and refugees, while also providing students with invaluable hands-on lawyering experience. In addition to direct representation, students engage in policy advocacy, community outreach, and community education.
Faculty and students in the clinic represent immigrants in removal proceedings, detained immigrants with final orders of removal who are being held indefinitely in government custody, and minors in removal proceedings to apply for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), including related representation before family courts.
