The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications from academically qualified and professionally experienced individuals for three non-tenure track, 12-month, open-rank Instructor positions (referred to as Teaching Professors at FIU) in the areas of Ecology and Evolution, and Genetics and Evolution, and Developmental Biology, to grow and support our online Biology BA program. The Department of Biological Sciences has ~4500+ undergraduate majors, ~120 graduate students, and 65 faculty members on two large campuses ( https://www.fiu.edu/locations/index.html ), one in west Miami (MMC), and one in North Miami on Biscayne Bay (BBC). These positions will be primarily online although face to face teaching at the MMC and BBC campuses may be assigned as needed.
