The Departments of Anthropology and Public Health at Wayne State University invite applications for a Biocultural Anthropologist to be appointed as a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning in August 2023. The hire will be jointly appointed (50/50) in Anthropology and Public Health, with a tenure home in the Department of Anthropology. This search is one of two concurrent hires in the Department of Anthropology. Topical areas of interest may include but are not limited to: biological and health impacts of poverty or racism; global and/or public health; human adaptations among diverse populations; reproductive health, stress, and environment.
