The Gender and Sexuality Studies Program at St. Lawrence University is seeking applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor beginning in the fall of 2022. The successful candidate will teach a 3/3 load including: Gender & Society (an introductory class focusing on intersectional approaches to gender); Research Methods; Advanced Gender/Feminist/Queer Theory; and courses in your research expertise. We encourage candidates to teach in the St. Lawrence University First-Year Program and Sophomore Journeys Program, preferably after a successful Mid-Tenure Probationary Review. Candidates will also mentor and advise undergraduates on their thesis projects, contribute to service in the Program and University, and carry out a robust research agenda. The program requires faculty to mentor student praxis projects. For additional information about St. Lawrence, please visit http://www.stlawu.edu .
