The Children’s School at Deerfield Academy is seeking substitute teachers for the early childhood center. Successful candidates will be energetic, patient and love being with children. Experience working with children is a plus.
The children at the Center are of a mixed age group ranging from 15 months to 5 years of age. Substitute Teachers are called in on an ‘as needed’ basis. Hours of operation are from 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday during the academic year and for 8 weeks during the summer.
All substitute teachers are subject to criminal background checks as well as fingerprinting for EEC and MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
