Description: The Department of Anthropology & Sociology at Albion College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in Anthropology for the 2021-2022 academic year.  Candidates should have experience with and be enthusiastic about teaching 1) a four-field Introduction to Anthropology, 2) an upper-level course on the history, culture, and/or anthropology of Africa, and 3) upper-level courses in their area of expertise, and 4) students from diverse backgrounds.  A Ph.D. is preferred but not required at the time of appointment.  Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching is essential.  Candidates with experience teaching a diverse student population will be given preference.
