    About the role - Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga In 2025, the University of Waikato is formally creating Te Ara Tatauranga - The Statistical Consulting Group. This full-time role will be to work primarily as a statistical consultant, supporting research within the University for both students and academic staff, and working on external consulting projects. This role will also contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, primarily through lectures. The initial appointment will be for a three-year fixed-term position with the potential for continuation upon conclusion of the original term depending on the performance of Te Ara Tatauranga. Salary will be in the range of $87,500 to $104,322 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
