The Department of Psychology at the University of Alaska Anchorage invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology position with primary teaching responsibilities in our proposed new graduate Specialist-level School Psychology program.
This program will prepare professionals in a place-based, culturally-sustaining, scientist-practitioner model with the goal of becoming NASP accredited and accepting the first cohort in fall 2025. This will be Alaska’s first and only school psychology degree program. The Department of Psychology offers bachelor (BA/BS), master (MS in Clinical Psychology and ABA), and APA-accredited doctorate (PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology) degrees. In addition, the Department offers professional certificates in Children’s Mental Health and Applied Behavior Analysis.
