Essential Functions: (Teaching) Based on Master Syllabus, design and teach assigned class session(s), leveraging digital content and multi-media resources in the classroom. Assess student engagement/understanding during each class session and throughout the semester Collect, grade, and report assignments and homework Maintain and update the syllabus and course materials and make sure they are available through the College's Learning Management System. Advise learners in ways to help them meet their educational goals.   (Assessment) Use a variety of strategies to assess and evaluate learning Provide timely, thoughtful and constructive feedback to learners      

The Microsoft Instructor is responsible for training students in Microsoft Office suite. Conduct lectures that instruct participants how to use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Administer written and practice drills and exams. Evaluate and grade students class work and assignments. Maintain students grades and attendance, and report student progress to responsible staff. Manage all classroom issues and communicate any problems or concerns with the coordinator. Support student testing and certification in Microsoft.

Instruct, prepare, review, provide curriculum development support, and update program documentation in support of Cyber Security Courses (such as IT Essentials, CompTIA A+ Certification Prep and IT Networking).

Overview of position: Leading High School Students in the design, and hands-on construction of robotics, as well as creating the manufacturing tools and processes that will build the robots.  Lead program curriculum, sessions, and lessons focused on engineering and technology. Lead program participants in local, regional and national robotics competitions.  Support students during independent and workgroup time.  Work as a member of the Stem instructional team.    ** This position is Part-time **
