P/T Faculty - Biomedical Sciences (Evergreen) Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The department of Biomedical Sciences delivers most of the didactic courses in basic sciences to DDS and IDS students. As needed, the faculty also give courses to dental hygiene studies. Faculty are also encouraged to participate in academic activities in the department, such as journal clubs, seminars, and informal meetings to plan research projects. Main courses deliver content in biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, anatomy, microbiology, immunology. Courses are given in lecture rooms, via online teaching, and in the anatomy lab. Modern pedagogical concepts and application in health professions education.
Trends in oral health and medical sciences.
Word, Excel, Outlook, Canvas, SharePoint, Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
Ability to:
Give lectures in the biomedical sciences, especially anatomy.
