  The Department of Music at UMBC seeks a Visiting Lecturer of Choral Conducting and Music Education for the 2023-2024 academic year, to begin August 2023. This individual will be responsible for conducting the Camerata Concert Choir and teaching undergraduate courses in choral music education with additional teaching responsibilities in conducting and/or vocal pedagogy.  Additional duties can include other departmental instruction, service, or responsibilities in the candidate’s area of expertise.  Applicants who demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion by way of teaching, performing, publishing, or volunteer experiences are urged to submit an application.
