Assistant Director of BRIDGES The Assistant Director (AD) applies all program and college policies to carry out the mission and goals of BRIDGES. The AD works directly with the program's supervising clinician to customize material to better meet students' individual goals. In addition, along with the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Chair, the AD is responsible for developing the ongoing administration of BRIDGES' peer mentoring program which is designed to enhance our students experience and provide frequent, tangible means of increasing social and academic skills. This will include actively promoting the peer mentor program to the campus and community, recruiting suitable candidates from the student body at large, developing and providing training, scheduling all peer mentor/BRIDGES interventions, and conducting separate weekly supervision meetings with peer mentors and BRIDGES students.
