    Applications are invited from outstanding candidates for a probationary tenure-track faculty position in water resources engineering at the Assistant Professor level within the Department of Civil and Resource Engineering  at Dalhousie University. The Department of Civil and Resource Engineering has established research strengths in the area of water resources engineering, with productive research programs in water and wastewater treatment, hydrology, hydrogeology and geoenvironmental engineering. We are seeking applicants who can complement and build on these strengths and have research expertise in one of the following areas: Coastal hydraulics, and the design/protection of coastal infrastructure, Urban (municipal) hydraulics/hydrology, or Fluvial hydraulics.  

  The  Department of Mechanical Engineering  invites applications for a career stream faculty position at the rank of Instructor. The successful candidate will play an integral part in the teaching of undergraduate courses, with a focus on design-based courses, in the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, both in the upper and core (lower) division. It is expected that the successful candidate will be teaching a total of 5 courses (15 credit hours) per academic year. Furthermore, the successful candidate will act as the academic lead for the IDEA Sandbox and Makerspace.

  The Department of Process Engineering and Applied Science is seeking applicants for a probationary tenure-track appointment. This position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Chemical Engineering program and will commence July 1st, 2023, or earlier if the applicant selected is available. The successful candidate will teach and conduct research in the field of Chemical Engineering. Research in the Department has a general focus on Clean and Sustainable Processing, and researchers fall into one of two broad categories the Department is looking to build on: Bioengineering Sustainable Processes and Process Intensification The position will be filled by a chemical engineer with demonstrated research excellence in either of the Department’s two focal areas.
