We seek an artist/scholar engaged in contemporary photography practices who is a dynamic educator with a passion for teaching to provide leadership in the program of Photo-Image Making. A successful candidate will maintain rigorous standards in contemporary photography. They will provide depth to existing Photo Image Making curriculum, while also creating innovative and experimental courses that consider contemporary light-based image making methods and concepts relative to contemporary artistic practice.
The successful applicant will be able to teach at all levels, from undergraduate through to graduate studies. They should be conversant in material innovations, conceptual topics, and contemporary theory as it relates to studio art, and specifically, photography.
