JOB SUMMARY:   Adelphi University's Theater Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Acting (Voice) to start in Fall 2023. The candidate will teach courses including Voice and Diction; Dialects; Verse; and Shakespeare. There would be potential opportunities to act as vocal and dialect coach, to direct departmental productions, and to teach additional courses in the candidate's area of interest.   RESPONSIBILITIES:   We welcome candidates with experience helping students achieve a significant level of improvement in voice, speech, verse and styles of theatre and commitment to establishing a forward-thinking pedagogy for diverse, multifaceted theatre artists.
