  The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Visual Arts department seeks applications from creative and rigorous-thinking animators/artists with expertise in 3D computer graphics animation, as well as interactive, alternative, and/or hybrid forms of animation. The department has been a forerunner in computing in the arts and UMBC is the only Research 1 (R1) institution also recognized in ModernThink’s Great Colleges to Work For as a top institution nationwide in every measured category, from well-being and shared governance to mission and pride. This tenure-track, 9-month full-time appointment begins August 2023. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The review of applications will begin on January 27th, 2023.
