This position is for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Division of Education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate/graduate courses primarily in ESL and bilingual education, technology education and foundation courses. The successful candidate will have a doctorate degree in TESOL, second language education, applied linguistics, technology education or related field by August 1, 2021. The successful candidate should have strong skills in teaching online courses and preferably have knowledge in Quality Matters or other platforms for developing sound online instruction. Salary range is $30,000-$35,000 depending on qualifications The successful candidate will have the responsibility to implement a success oriented, developmentally appropriate program for Early Head Start children in a mixed age classroom ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Infant/toddler teachers integrate all aspects of Early Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC standards, and Illinois Day Care Regulations into the schedule and curriculum for each child including any special items as directed including but not limited to nutrition, behavior, or Individual Family Service Plans.
