GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION :    Serves as the Tutoring Program representative who oversees tutors and assists the AST Coordinator in providing quality tutoring to MCC, MCC’s programs, and the University Center. This position receives Supervision from the Coordinator of The Center for Academic Excellence and exercises supervision over student tutors. Note:  This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position. WORKING CONDITIONS :  Sedentary: Desk work, occasional field trips, e.g. for college or program activities.  Insignificant effort other than normal movement.   Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office setting.  At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
