  The UCLA Department of Ophthalmology invite outstanding vision scientists at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level to join a dynamic community whose work spans understanding the science behind vision disorders to converting laboratory discoveries into treatments.  We are seeking individuals with experience in visual electrophysiology and psychophysics to assess visual function in patients and/or electrophysiology, imaging and behavioral testing of visual function in animal models of ocular disorders. In addition to leading an independent, and federally-funded research program, the candidate may also be expected to collaborate or direct core facilities within the Institute supporting a wide range of functional studies on fundamental aspects of visual function and dysfunction. The Search Committee also seeks candidates committed to contributions to equity, diversity and inclusion.
