General Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Adult Basic Education and Literacy Services, the Tester/Advisor is responsible for the daily testing and advising of students entering the Adult Basic Education program of the Workforce Development and Continuing Education.  The Tester/Advisor is responsible for signing in examinees, administering test instructions, and ensuring the integrity of the exam by proctoring appropriate examination (TABE Online/Paper, or CASA Online/Paper). The position is routinely tasked to perform detailed work involving the compliant awarding and reconciliation of work study funds, and with respect to off-campus and on-campus employment functions related to timekeeping, payroll invoicing, correction processing, and ensuring compliance with community service and job location & development thresholds.

Description/Job Summary Baltimore City Community College is currently seeking an energetic, organized, and collaborative individual to serve as Academic Coordinator of the TRIO Student Support Services Program (TRIO SSSP). The Academic Coordinator will work closely with the Director of the TRIO SSSP to develop, plan, and implement high-quality services support services to increase the retention, graduation, and transfer success rates of 230 first-generation, low-income, and/or disabled students. The Academic Coordinator will collaborate with college departments and academic support services to coordinate tutorial support to meet the needs of TRIO SSSP participants.  Additionally, the Academic Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Peer Mentor and Leadership Development initiative.

Monitor compliance with college and departmental policies and procedures. Analyze and regularly share operational data and statistics with key stakeholders. Conduct workshops, career events and presentations. Provide career development advisement, as required during peak periods. Hire, supervise, train and evaluate assigned staff.
