Job Description:
The Student Services Advisor position is a 12-month professional/managerial position. The Student Services Advisor will provide admissions, financial aid, career planning, and academic advising to students and prospective students. Additionally, the Student Services Advisor will participate in retention and completion efforts and implement student success initiatives; participate in recruiting activities and events as assigned; provide intensive academic advising; and utilize degree audits, academic plans, and other tools to assist students in progressing toward completion. Some evening and weekend work assignments may be required, as well as in and out of district travel. This position reports to the appropriate department head.
