Job Summary

This position provides support to the Classification, Compensation and Information System section of Human Resources. This position will be responsible for assisting with general and specific compensation and classification related duties of the HR Classification and Compensation and Information Systems section.

 



Responsibilities

The duties include, but not limited to:

 



Answer questions concerning related matters within the section related to interpretation of policies, rules and processes in accordance with Compensation and Classification. Answering calls and emails for triaging and directing them to the appropriate staff member or section.

Perform general administrative functions for the Classification & Compensation section of CC&IS. Create and maintain non-person profiles in the OneUSG Connect system. Responsible for accurate and timely data entry into the OneUSG Connect for minor routine classification actions.

Assist with specific projects and assignments to include, but not limited to data collection and compilation, organization and interpretation of information of data formatting of excel spreadsheets, etc.

 



Provides assistance with form creations and revisions for section. Provide assistance with websites that are connected to the CC&IS section of Human Resources for updates and/or revision to be given to the appropriate staff for updating.

Provides highest level of customer service to campus employees, department managers, and other AU business units.

 



Performs other duties as assigned.

 



Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Associate degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years HR experience

OR

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a State or Federal accrediting organization and three - five years related experience

 



Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in applicable field and one year of HR experience.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication

 



Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days/M-F, Work outside of the normal business hours may be required

 



Pay Grade: 15

 



Salary: Minimum $38,913 - $45,723

 



Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum midpoint) of the position.

 



Recruitment Period: 1/8/24 - Until Filled
