Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Full Salary Range
Minimum: $17.00
Maximum $18.85

Job Summary
Responsible to take lecture and/or lab note for students who have documented disability and are approved for academic accommodation(s).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

1. Must possess medical terminology
2. Must be able to see written information used during Lab(s)/Lecture(s) as well as being able to ask for clarification if needed.
3. Must possess knowledge of blackboard, as well, as being able to type efficient.

Required Qualifications
1. Must Be a Current Student of Western University of Health Sciences.
2. Must be eligible for Federal Work Study Award

Attend lecture(s) and/or lab(s) on a consistent basis.
Post notes on blackboard on a daily basis for the students that meet the above criteria.

Must also be able to meet with HF-CDHP for an overview of the Note Taker procedures and process.

Email designated HF-CDHP staff member on Fridays to confirm notes are posted.
Must complete and submit time cards to HF-CDHP Staff on Fridays.
