Job Description

The RAMP (Regional Additive Manufacturing Pathways)-HCC Navigator supports HCC’s Engineering Technology program by serving as a recruiter, being a central point of contact for potential and existing students, and offering intensive student support. The Navigator provides provides an on-going personal connection from a student’s initial interest in the program until job placement.

Duties include, but are not limited to, outreach and recruiting, collaborating with the Communications department and Engineering Technologies Program Coordinator to develop and implement outreach and recruiting strategies and marketing materials; visiting high schools; expanding the network of campus and community service providers, and employers and manufacturing professionals; coordinating and providing advising and support services to students to support academic persistence and career pathway success; identifying field placements and establish relationships with industry employers and internal and external stakeholders; facilitating the transition of students between noncredit and credit courses; participating in professional organizations, professional development, and College and statewide committees; and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This is a grant-funded, part-time position; current funding for this position ends June 30, 2021. Continuation of the position is based on renewed funding.
