Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Director of e-Learning and Instructional Technology carries out operating policies and procedures with a focus on online course development, faculty training and mentoring, and multi-media and production services in support of online instruction at the College. The staff for e-Learning and tutoring report directly to this position. The Directory will work collaboratively with the Deans to develop new and revise current online courses. The Director will research and work with the Deans to help design online degree programs to build the distance education offerings. This position will coordinate projects as well as track and report on project status. The Director will promote teamwork, provide leadership, innovation, and delivery of consistent, quality products within established timelines. The position will need to help develop, recommend, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and workflow to meet State standards.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in an academic discipline or instructional design,
  • Minimum 7 years of teaching experience in an academic field. 
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience related to eLearning, including three years of supervisory experience
