Job Description



  • responsibilities will include sign out of molecular tests, developing new tests, teaching Molecular Genetic Pathology fellows and Pathology residents, and translational research.
  • the Division is home to a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship Program with two fellows trained annually
  • the Division faculty interpret and report more than 30,000 molecular tests, most of which are complex next-generation sequencing tests in solid tumors, hematology-oncology, and germline genetics    


  • sign out molecular reports for molecular tests in solid tumors, hematology-oncology, and germline genetics.
  • develop new lab tests
  • teach Molecular Genetic Pathology fellows and Pathology residents
  • participate in translational research initiatives

Preferred and Required Qualifications


  • M.D. degree
  • residency training in Anatomic Pathology
  • subspecialty board certification in molecular genetic pathology (American Board of Pathology) or clinical molecular genetics (American Board of Molecular Genetics and Genomics) with a minimum of 2 years experience.
