This position represents Augusta University by providing customer service to applicants for admission to Augusta University in the form of data entry, imaging, and application processing within the University's Student Information (BANNER), Customer Relationship Management (Slate), and Imaging systems (Xtender). This position processes applications based on the admissions requirements related to specific application types. During peak times, this position assists with processing related to residency, transcript evaluations, etc. This position maintains the confidentiality of student records in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

 



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 



 



 



PROCESSING: Process applications for all incoming students from multiple systems. Responsible for data entry into student information system as well as updating and maintaining all student information in appropriate university systems (Banner/Slate).

 



 



DATA ENTRY AND SCANNING: Data entry and scanning of documents into Banner and Xtender respectively.

 



 



STUDENT FILES: Maintain student files by managing flow of new documents, tracking transcripts, and updating checklists for all applicants and students.

 



 



REPORTS: Run reports to perform quality control checks on data entry as needed to check files and/or databases for data accuracy and completeness of files.

 



 



PROJECTS AND OTHER DUTIES: Perform special projects, temporary duties and all other job-related duties as assigned. Contributes to the overall success of the department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 



Required Qualifications

High School diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization required

 

combined with a minimum of one year of customer services, clerical or related experience.

 



Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience in BANNER, Xtender, Slate, Reporting Systems, transfer articulation or other student information systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

 



Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work efficiently. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse population.

 

Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse population. Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems; Detail-oriented. Knowledge of Microsoft Office environments. Willingness to learn Slate and Banner and how to manage CRM.

 



Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days, Monday - Friday

 



Pay Grade: 8

 



Salary Minimum: $15.00 - Midpoint: $15.63

 



Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
