Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement and Strategic Partnerships, the Director of Marketing leads a team focused on the development, implementation and assessment of marketing and brand strategies to enhance the reputation, programs and priorities of Baltimore City Community College (BCCC).  Working closely with the Vice President, the Marketing and Communications teams and departments across the College, this position leads a creative, highly motivated, fun, technology-savvy, metrics- driven team dedicated to serving BCCC's current students and employees and a diverse external audience.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, mass communications or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience including directly in marketing and/communications, 7+ years of progressive supervisory experience with direct reports; demonstrated experience in making administrative decisions, providing effective counsel on marketing and communications.
  • Expert level experience with MS Office 365 (MS Teams, OneDrive, PP, and all office suite software)
  • Working understanding of Adobe CS
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics and AdWords
  • Strong project management experience
