Job Description

Position Summary: 

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical, Social and Administrative Sciences: The primary responsibility of this faculty member(s) is to coordinate and deliver instruction throughout the School’s pharmaceutical or social and administrative science courses (with particular needs in health outcomes and biomedical sciences) in the traditional and/or online pathways equivalent to half of a standard teaching load (6 credit hours). Other course work may be assigned at the discretion of the Chair of PSAS) and the candidate(s) will serve on School’s faculty committees.

FTE: 25.0 (Adjunct Non-tenure)

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. from accredited college or university in a discipline in the pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Post-doctoral training preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to utilize various software programs related to the delivery of online course development and
  • delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, co-coordinate, and deliver a variety of courses and/or topics in the pharmaceutical sciences
  • for the School’s 3-year online Pharm.D program.
  • Participate in the shared governance of the School of Pharmacy.
  • Uphold the mission and vision of D’Youville and the School of Pharmacy.
  • Act as an advisor and mentor to Pharm.D students in the School’s online program.
