Strategically situated just 40 miles west of New York City on the I-80 corridor and 39 miles east of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, this very special location offers easy access to the cultural center of NYC and also to outdoor recreational opportunities. We currently seek an Executive Director of Marketing who will report directly to the President in this new role.

The Executive Director of Marketing provides vision, leadership, and administrative oversight for marketing, communications, public relations, the College website and portal, new media and print publications. Responsible for crafting and establishing the College’s brand presence throughout the region to support recruitment, student success, development and the public image of the College. Provides strategic direction for and management of the College’s online communication including its websites, digital marketing, bulk email and social media. Spearheads the adoption of new media channels and strategies, and ensures the currency and quality of the College’s public information.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisor capacity in marketing, communications, outreach or public administration (preferably in higher education). Expertise in digital, direct response and traditional marketing. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.  Experience with social media, print, website and electronic publications. Experience in data analysis and consultative reporting. Proficient in managing projects with multiple resources, stakeholders and deadlines.

A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
