QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or in a closely related field.
• Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate criminal justice courses.
• Show a history or ability to publish peer-reviewed research articles, and evidence of grant writing.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required.
• To apply for the full Professor position, the applicant must have not less than 15 years of experience in teaching criminal justice graduate courses.
• Pre-Employment screening is required: criminal background-check and drug-testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform teaching, scholarship, service, professional development, and program assessment for accreditation.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate criminal justice courses.
• Perform student advising and partake in student recruitment.
• Work collaboratively with other faculty, staff, and students to advance the mission of the Department and University.
• Perform other faculty responsibilities as outlined in the faculty handbook.
