Lab research concentrates on the adult central nervous system and unexpected plasticity and adaptability to environmental stimulation that remains throughout the life of all mammals.


Position Description:

Post-doctoral fellow with significant electrophysiological training who will work on his/her own project and collaborate with other fellows in the lab.

 


Education:

PhD degree in Neurophysiology is required.

 


Experience:

Required:

 

  • Expertise in single cell patch-clamp physiology
    • Hippocampal slice electrophysiology

 

Preferred:

 

  • Human embryonic stem cell electrophysiology

 


Special Requirements:

Must be willing to work an adjusted schedule to support research needs. Must be willing to submit to a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement.

 


Physical Requirements:

Position requires constant seeing.
