Scheduler - Temporary
Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment
Temporary part time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for the various professionals at the center
- Coordinate with billing agent and office staff to address needs for both clients and professional staff regarding appointment times and billing
- Prepare paper charting and upload to electronic medical records system
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and other professionals
- Maintain professionalism with all staff members, clients, families, caregivers, and community organizations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active with or without accommodations
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
- Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
