Position Status: Full-Time
Office of the Dean, College of Education (Savannah, GA). The Executive Assistant I reports to the Dean of the College of Education and provides administrative assistance to the Dean and one Associate Dean, specifically in the management of the Dean's Office, screening calls, visitors and mail, arranging conferences and meetings, and maintaining appointment schedules.

Three or more years of related work experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Effective communication skills (verbal and written); developed organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; and successful completion of background investigation prior to employment
Knowledgeable of the laws, rules, regulations, and policies of the University
Experience in office management; experience working independently on confidential assignments; experience in taking, transcribing, and typing complex, technical, and confidential dictation accurately, rapidly, and to compose effective and accurate correspondence; and/or experience organizing and supervising a group of employees assigned clerical tasks
Salary Range: $37,500
