POSITION SUMMARY:

The Department of Psychology at the University of South Florida invites applications for ONE (1) VISITING INSTRUCTOR for 1 academic year (9-month contract) with the possible extension for a second and/or third year, with service to begin as early as August 7, 2020. A review of the applications will begin on April 13, 2020. Applications received after April 13, 2020 may be reviewed and advanced, in cases of compelling merit, up to the conclusion of the search process. Applicants must be able to teach a variety of courses. Preferred teaching experience listed below. The required course load is 4 courses per semester.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience): Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization by time of appointment.  Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching such undergraduate courses as Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Health Psychology, and Behavior Modification.
