Department/Unit: Faculty of Computer Science

Location : Halifax, Nova Scotia

The Faculty of Computer Science is seeking a candidate for a limited term instructor position (beginning as soon as possible and continuing to August 30, 2021). The position will primarily involve teaching graduate courses predominantly in the Master of Applied Computer Science Program, and participating in other Faculty administration and student affairs, such as the Master of Applied Computer Science Committee and student advising. The course areas to be taught include Cloud Computing, Databases, Data Management, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing.



Preferred and Required Qualifications

The successful candidates to this position must meet the following requirements:

  • At least a Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Experience teaching at a university

Although the instructor is not expected to conduct research, the successful candidate will have a well-defined area of interest in CS in which they will remain current and be able to teach senior-level and graduate courses.
