Utility Maintenance
Department: Facilities Operations - Administration - 410000
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant experience in the Utility maintenance trade. Knowledge of tools and equipment used for Mechanical and General maintenance work.
License/Certification Required
Essential Job Functions
This position is responsible for the repair, maintenance and preventive maintenance of ASU facility buildings other than residence facilities.
Duties include repair of minor mechanical systems, pressure washing of non-residence hall facilities and misc. duties assigned by supervisor.
This position will assist other shops as needed, i.e.: Mechanical, Zones, PM, and Landscape Departments.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of the methods, practices and tools used in mechanical and utility maintenance. Basic computer knowledge, skills and abilities. Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lift equipment.
Work Schedule/Hours: 8 Hours per day Monday-Wednesday. Typical work hours will fall between 6:00am – 2:30am.
