The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching in the area of (but not limited to) foundational topics of construction, pre-construction, project development, and project management. He/she will actively contribute to continuing program development, will collaborate with colleagues, and will engage with students to promote curriculum in areas of construction management. This individual will teach related topics in an intensely active, outcomes-based learning environment in which innovative pedagogy, timely curriculum, creative assignments, and excellence in student work is paramount. Delivery of course materials in on‑campus sections must be replicated through Indiana State University’s highly regarded online program.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Construction Management or a closely related field and will have experience in industry related to design and construction with some teaching experience. Additional experience in horizontal construction is desirable. Candidates also should demonstrate communication skills in written and spoken English.
