The College of Pharmacy, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences (RFHS), University of Manitoba, Canada invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Pharmacokinetics at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (Position #33105).
Applicants must possess a PhD degree in Pharmacokinetics or Biopharmaceutics or a related field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, preferably with postdoctoral or fellowship training. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an independent research program funded externally, such as through the Canadian Tri-Agencies (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC). The individual will be expected to teach in undergraduate and graduate programs, and provide service, at the College of Pharmacy, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences and University of Manitoba. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The College of Pharmacy is located in a state-of-the-art 90,000 square feet Apotex Centre on the Bannatyne Campus of the University. Core facilities at the RFHS include the latest imaging infrastructure (e.g., MR, whole animal fluorescence and 2-photon), small animal core facilities (e.g., CT, PET-MRI), lentiviral application support, transgenic mouse expertise (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9 editing) and proteomic/metabolomic/epigenetic approaches and associated bioinformatics. The College of Pharmacy is also home to the Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab (P.A.L.) which has Shimadzu and Waters HPLCs as well as single and triple quadrupole mass spectrometers, Real-Time PCR, clinical chemistry analyzer and an AKTA FPLC.
The College of Pharmacy has a long history of excellence in pharmacy education and research.
