Assistant Professor of Games and Creative Technologies
The School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks applications for a tenure-system faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank, emphasizing game production and creative technologies such as VR/AR/MR.
Ideal candidates will have interest in exploring new modes of game design and production through collaborations with other research disciplines and domains. The successful applicant will present a portfolio of projects that showcase creative work and provide examples of current or future research projects that demonstrate expertise in scripting and programming.
Applicants' research and teaching interests may include but are not limited to serious games, educational games, immersive world building, tool development, and experimental game design.
