Professor - Media Studies
The School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for appointment at the rank of Full Professor with Tenure with expertise in media history, media archeology/archiving, and/or technoculture studies. Applicants' research agenda should emphasize the media of the moving image, including film, television, and emerging cinema, and situate that work within cultural histories of creative production and the social impacts of mass media. Desired areas of teaching expertise include media histories, contemporary media philosophy, and/or media archeology and archiving.
