Position Status: Full-Time

Position Summary:
Office of Registrar. The Degree Program Assistant serves as primary contact for students, academic advisors, and department chairs on requirements for graduation.

Essential Functions
  • Performs related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University.
  • Enters data into BANNER.
  • Communicates degree requirements to Advisors and Department Chairs.
  • Updates students DegreeWorks audit to reflect exceptions and substitutions.
  • Awards degrees based on satisfactory completion of all degree requirements.
  • Assists with campus events such as Commencement, Eagle Expo, and SOAR.

Minimum Education Required:
Associate’s Degree or two or more years of post-secondary education

Two or more years of related work experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
