Teaching Faculty Position, Non-Tenure Track
The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at Rutgers University invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank, a long-term, career-oriented position with the possibility of reappointment and promotion through the university’s teaching faculty track

The ISE Department welcomes dynamic and engaging candidates who are dedicated to instructional innovation and can bring diverse intellectual, geographical, gender and ethnic perspectives to the work and campus communities at Rutgers and the School of Engineering (SoE).
The candidate must have solid technical and analytical background with significant industry experience. We seek an individual who is willing to integrate technology and innovation into undergraduate courses and design projects. The candidate is expected to teach a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in ISE, including but not limited to, Senior Design, Work Design and Human/Machine Systems, Supply Chain, and more. The candidate must also be willing to develop new courses at the undergraduate level that involve innovation and technology. Finally, the candidate will be expected to help the department engage industry projects into the curriculum and enhance industry partnership.
A doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering or related topic is required. We seek exceptional candidates who can proactively contribute to our School’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
