Job Description

The applicant is expected to build a research program and publication track record, mentor doctoral students, and teach at the graduate level. Consideration will be given to all areas of specialization, although overlap with our departmental concentrations in health psychology, neuropsychology, clinical child psychology, or areas of expertise that bridge these areas, are particularly encouraged to apply. Due to our partnerships across several health specialties on our campus, we offer the opportunity for applicants to develop a multidisciplinary research program.

The School of Behavioral Health’s Department of Psychology includes APA-accredited Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs in clinical psychology The city of Loma Linda is America’s only “Blue Zone” of longevity and is conveniently situated near mountains, beaches, downtown Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and San Diego.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

All applicants must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. If the degree is in clinical psychology, it should be from an APA-accredited program (including an APA-accredited internship) and the applicant should be license-eligible in the state of California.
