Title: TITLE III GRANT ACTIVITY DIRECTOR

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree. Successful results of a criminal background check are required. Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a master’s degree; experience having specified goals, objectives, and timelines. Prefer experience with Title III or other grants and U.S. Department of Education policies and grant terms. Duties: The Activity Director position is a 12-month professional/managerial position. The Activity Director will ensure successful and timely implementation of project activities and accomplishment of objectives; facilitate gathering of requisite evaluation data; facilitate professional development activities; assist with preparation of formative and summative reports; work with PSC Staff to institutionalize new practices and improvements according to the grant timeline; and manage the grant budget. Some evening and weekend work assignments may be required, as well as in and out of district travel. This position reports to the Dean, Student Affairs who also serves as the Title III Project Director.
