The School of Science invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Biology.
The Department of Biology is specifically searching for instructors to teach the laboratory for Human Anatomy and Physiology II (one 165-minute lab period per week during the semester) as well as instructors to teach classes in evolution and social behavior entitled Sex, Evolution & Behavior as well as a general class entitled Topics in Biology, both of which are designed for non-science majors (each course meets for two 75-minute lectures per week). The successful candidate(s) will join a department characterized by a strong sense of community in which students are the central focus and faculty who are both accessible and approachable.
The Adjunct Instructor of Biology will be required to teach Human Anatomy, Physiology II, and/or Sex, Evolution & Behavior.

Minimum qualifications include an M.A. or M.S. in Biology or closely related field, strong interest in undergraduate education, a commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, and interest in working collaboratively with others.
Desirable candidates will have prior teaching experience, especially at the college level.
