The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent research program using innovative approaches to study genome sequencing and assembly and analysis, across a wide range of possible topics including bioinformatics and computational biology. The candidate will join an intellectually vibrant and collaborative group of faculty in the Harnessing Plant Initiative (HPI) as well as collaborate on Cancer and Brain initiatives throughout the Institute. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and strong record of research achievements.
