Job ID: 245763Position number: 40036617 The Medical College of Georgia, Department of Medicine/Internal Medicine Division and Cancer Center located at Augusta University. This position will provide best practices for management risk and screening for recurrence. Provide follow-up medical care for patients who have completed cancer treatment. This position will develop and implement survivorship care plans in collaboration with oncology treatment team and will coordinate referrals to specialist and provide guidance in wellness and healthy lifestyle for patients.
The Medical College of Georgia/Augusta University, Internal Medicine Division and our Comprehensive Cancer Center are seeking an outstanding candidate for an outpatient primary care faculty position. Qualified candidates will provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients undergoing current cancer treatment and survivors of cancer treatment. This is an innovative and emerging discipline with opportunities for independence and growth. The goal of this position is to provide exceptional primary and wellness care, standard treatment of comorbidities, while simultaneously working in collaboration with oncology treatment teams. As the only academic health center in the region, AU Health has a definite advantage by offering cutting-edge, evidence-based and carefully coordinated patient-centered care. Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess a MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, successfully completed an Internal Medicine training program, and be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.

Academic rank, tenure status and salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
