Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical, Social and Administrative Sciences


Reports to: Chair, Department of Pharmaceutical, Social and Administrative Sciences (PSAS)

 Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this faculty member is to develop, coordinate and teach graduate-level courses in the traditional and/or online PharmD pathways focusing on Pharmacy Management, and Pharmacy & HealthCare Systems. Additionally, other course work may be assigned at the discretion of the Chair of PSAS.

FTE: 1.0 FTE Faculty, Tenure-track


• PhD in Pharmacy Administration or related field (under certain circumstances a PharmD is acceptable)

• MBA or equivalent experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

 • Ability to utilize various software programs Responsibilities:

• Develop, Coordinate and deliver instruction Pharmacy Management, and Pharmacy & HealthCare Systems and related disciplines in the traditional and online pathways

 • Participate in committee assignments as required by the School.

• Participate in service to the community in accordance with the mission of D’Youville.

 • Participate in scholarship and research that align with area of specialty that will satisfy expectations for tenure.

 • Serve as an advisor to PharmD students
